Purrlude in E for piccolo flute (Noomi)

🪈🐈 Purrlude in E for piccolo flute - composed in memory of little Noomi the munchkin cat 💔 Commissioned by a client from Connecticut 🇺🇸 In this composition, I used the cheerful sound of the piccolo in an attempt to capture Noomi’s sweet tiny personality. The little bursts of high-pitched staccato notes are meant to imitate Noomi’s little chirpy meows she used to do when she would “hunt“ her favorite fish toy or someone’s sock. Rest in peace, sweet Noomi.
