Drawing the Sri Yantra from Scratch/Anleitung um das Sri Yantra zu zeichnen

This video shows how I construct the full Sri Yantra with ruler and compas on 30*40cm watercolor paper on my A3 drawing board. I have put together the various construction steps from two books and a website. The books are: “Tools for Tantra“ by Harish Johari (which has so much info about all kinds of yantras) and “Nine Designs for Inner Peace: The Ultimate Guide to Meditating with Color, Shape, and Sound“ by Sarah Tomlinson (which shows how to construct the square border and the petals (you can also use her book “Coloring Yantras: 24 Sacred Symbols for Meditation, Healing, Abundance, and Creativity“ if you just want the outline of the Yantra and copy it). The geometric construction of the center of the Yantra (the nine interlocked triangles) itself is not in those books.
