Круглый стол: Иконы и реликвии в современной России: между музеем и храмом

Поводом для организации круглого стола стало перемещение “Троицы” Андрея Рублева и некоторых других религиозных предметов из музея в церковь. Мы постарались показать в обсуждении эту ситуацию с нескольких точек зрения: с одной стороны, икона - это часть пространства храма, с другой - она может быть и является музейным экспонатом, и в этом своем качестве иногда оказывается более сохранной и доступной. Мы также обсудили пост-советские религиозные практики почитания святынь, которые становятся повседневным вернакулярным контекстом, фоном для публичных взаимоотношений, которые выстраиваются между православной церковью и светскими, в первую очередь музейными, институциями. The round table is dedicated to the relocation of Andrei Rublev’s “Trinity“ and some other religious objects from the museum to the church. We tried to show this situation from several points of view in our discussion: on the one hand, an icon is a part of the temple space, on the other hand, it can be (and actually often is ) a museum piece, and sometimes it turns out to be a safer and more accessible place for it. We also discussed post-Soviet religious practices of treating shrines, which are becoming an everyday vernacular context, a backdrop for the public relationships that are built between the Orthodox Church and secular, primarily museum, institutions.
