Lot 116 H. R. Giger - Giger Owned Aluminum Harkonnen “Capo” Chair
A limited edition Harkonnen “Capo” chair created and personally owned by the late H.R. Giger. The Harkonnen chairs were limited to a very short production run, and this particular chair was displayed in Giger’s own home as well as in touring exhibitions.
Originally conceived as part of the concept development for Alejandro Jodorowsky’s adaptation of Dune, the Capo chair was intended for use by the Baron Harkonnen (Orson Welles was provisionally cast in the role). H.R. Giger was one of the principal concept
