Making rounded mid century floating nightstands - mdf and oak
Making rounded mid century floating nightstands out of painted MDF and Oak hardwood
In this video we show you how we built these modern MDF nightstands with solid oak wood drawer fronts. Some might say that they are just large rounded corners floating side tables, but we feel like they fit in the mid century style. The recessed handles routed into the drawer fronts make a great feature and help bring the minimalist look up front.
We want to show everybody that they can be done with common tools in a small woodworking shop.
Feel free to ask if you need more information on a certain step of the process.
