Pakistan Software Technology I.T Industry Development Projects

Pakistan is rapidly advancing in software technology. At present, the first software park in the area in Swat district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan is fully operational. Over the past one or two years, Pakistan has made significant progress in this area. So far, Pakistan’s software exports have increased by 47%. According to the Ministry of Information Technology, there are currently 22 software technology parks operating in different cities of Pakistan while many are in various stages of completion. The previous government had set a target of increasing the number of information technology parks to 40 by December 2022.
