Larry Coryell - Souls Dirge

The opening track to this album, which was recorded at a live show in Montreux (thus the French introduction). It features Coryell on guitar and Vocals, Chuck Rainey on Bass and Bernard Purdie on Drums. The three work well, especially Purdie and (of course) Coryell. The song itself features Coryell’s vocals, which are bearable to sometimes decent. Most of the song, however, is instrumental.
