Ехидна

Video footage of a Short-Beaked Echidna (Tachyglossus aculeatus) also known as a Spiny Ant Eater. The Echidna belongs to the family Tachyglossidae, of the monotreme order of mammals that are egg-laying. They mainly eat ants and termites. They live in Australia and New Guinea. Echidnas are covered with coarse fur and hard spines. They look a bit like anteaters, hedgehogs and porcupines. Echidnas have the ability to burrow into the ground at surprisingly great speed.
