“A More Powerful Thought of Love“ - Charlie’s Story

Dr Charlie Pierce MBE is a teacher and educator whose life has been one of selfless service and striving to live up to the high ideals he so firmly believes in. In this moving story, Charlie relives the events of 2012 when, in a brutal home invasion, he suffered grievous injury and harm. What happened next was nothing short of remarkable. Charlie quotes this beautiful passage from Abdu’l-Baha: “I charge you all that each one of you concentrate all the thoughts of your heart on love and unity. When a thought of war comes, oppose it by a stronger thought of peace. A thought of hatred must be destroyed by a more powerful thought of love. Thoughts of war bring destruction to all harmony, well-being, restfulness and content.
