The Rite - The Fathomless Dark (single, 2023)

Today I bring you ‘The Fathomless Dark´- an advance track from Danish old school morbid black metal group The Rite, in advance of their second album The Astral Gloom. The full album is a creepy descent into a doomy evocation of occult metal, with a subversive twist of a cover of the Lollipops’ ‘Naked When You Come’ – bringing out the darkest corners of eeriness from the 60’s psychpop track. The Astral Gloom will be released on 11th August through Iron Bonehead Productions, on CD and vinyl LP formats.
