Laser cutting Latex // Tutorial

Running through a workflow on how to cut and glue complex latex designs using a laser cutter. (Using a pair of panties i designed as an example to do so.) svg patterns for the panties: :4601790 or: the workflow: 1. apply painters tape on the latex 2. cut out the design 3. clean with turpentine 4. cut out the same design from 3mm plexi / hdf / plywood for a helper tool 5. use spray glue to clue the latex on the helper tool 6. add latex glue 7. roll the back side latex onto the laser cut design 8. right away, remove the helper tool and the painters tape before it has a chance to dry 9. clean any spill-over glue with turpentine things to note: - Laser: k40 - latex: - cleaning latex: turpentine - power settings: depends on the machine, mine ran with 15mm/s @ 10
