Putin Testing Ukraine’s Air Defences? Russia Starts Robotyne Counterattack, Hackers Target UK Royals

Ukraine said its forces shot down four of the seven Shahed drones launched by Russia overnight on Oct. 2. Kyiv said the drones were launched from Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia’s Krasnodar Krai region. Russian forces are conducting counterattacks on the southern front, according to a US-based think-tank. Russian hackers targeted the British Royal Family in apparent revenge for the King’s condemnation of the war in Ukraine. Hacktivist group KillNet said they brought down the website for 90 minutes this morning, according to UK newspaper The Sun. According to UK Military Intelligence, Russia is struggling to deal with threats on the Southern front in Ukraine. The UK said that Russia is using its Black Sea fleet’s aircraft in an attempt to counter Ukraine’s progress.
