Cinetopicalities In Brief No. 86 (1939)

Titles read: “CINETOPICALITIES IN BRIEF“. Various locations of events. In the Rocky Mountains (Rockies) in Canada we see various shots of huge flocks of sheep being herded from the hills back down to the lowland pastures for the winter. Shepherds and dogs herd the sheep in the right direction. The sheep walk beneath a sign reading ’Bar Lazy Da Ranch’. In Paris, France, we see the latest fashions in military-style coats and hats, modelled by women in a fashion salon (? not studio shot). Commentator says they are influenced by the uniforms of the Polish army. Another woman wears an elegant coat or jacket with long skirt that has ornate pockets “for odds and ends“ needed during an air raid. Two women model ’shelter suits’ - one in a trouser / siren suit and the other in a long coat or dressing gown. They both wear turbans and have gas mask boxes hung over the shoulder. They walk down a staircase as commentator says “And if you do have to go down to the shelter you won’t mind who or what drops in“
