Dances With Wolves (1990): Sioux (Lakota) Language Vs. Pawnee

Sioux (Lakota) language is a Siouan language spoken by the Sioux Nation (Lakota/Dakota) whereas Pawnee is a Caddoan language spoken by the Pawnee (South Bands & Skiri/Skidi). They were traditional enemies on the Great Plains. As you can hear, their languages are very different. The hairstyle of Pawnee men is also associated with Siouan Osage and Iroquoian Mohawks.
