Malek Akkad recently confirmed that a halloween miramax deal and Halloween cinematic universe is in development, reportedly starting with a new Halloween tv series. There are many directions the series could take. Though it’s likely to start from scratch and establish its own continuity, it may follow on from one of the existing Halloween timelines, as there are five spanning 13 Halloween movies. MY Halloween Peacock series concept is to set a Halloween Ends prequel in Haddonfield to explain Michael Myers whereabouts during the four year time jump between Kills and Ends. Focus on the fallout after Halloween Kills and build lore around Haddonfield, Michael Myers, and his family. Do a halloween franchise update expanding characters like Allyson (Andi Matichak), Lindsey (Kyle Richards); and re-introducing characters played by Danielle Harris, Ellie Cornell, Tom Atkins and Lance Guest. Many fans have a different idea of what the original Halloween timeline is, but if you consider the fact that Halloween 2 (1981) is the last film before the anthology installment Halloween 3 Season of the Witch, which does not feature Michael Myers, then it’s fair to say that the first two Halloween films, in isolation, form their own timeline. Another perspective on what the original Halloween timeline is is to strip things back to basics even more and count only the original Halloween 1978 film by John Carpenter. So, the Halloween tv series could follow either the original and discard all of the sequels in the same way David Gordon Green’s trilogy does. The most interesting part of the Thorn trilogy is the character of Jamie Lloyd. But the Halloween tv series needn’t acknowledge the subsequent two films in the series, and could instead follow up the Halloween 4 climactic ending, which sees young Jamie taking up the mantle from her evil uncle, Michael Myers. Just because the David Gordon Green timeline is the most recent in the Halloween franchise, that doesn’t mean it’s the one that’s most likely to be followed up with whatever Miramax currently has planned for the new Halloween tv series. While Michael Myers is finally killed off in Ends in such a way that it would be impossible for him to come back, there’s no telling whether or not the upcoming Halloween Miramax series and subsequent installments will even feature the iconic killer. Still, I’d lean into Halloween 2018, Halloween Kills, and Halloween Ends being the foundation for the upcoming Halloween cinematic universe. #HalloweenEnds #HalloweenKills #OfficialTrailer #MovieTrailers ────────────────── 🚨 This is a Halloween TV Series Concept Trailer.
