No title. L/S of a circus ring. According to paper records this is “Bostock’s Three Ring Circus.“ Performing horses and ponies run around a small ring. Spectators can be seen in the foreground and behind the ring on a high balcony is a large orchestra. “Smiling faces, watching with eager eyes the great rings and Bostock’s well-trained horses.“ C/U of a packed audience. M/S of the performing horses. Various shots of them being put through their paces, all from the audience. A motley crew parades for the audience - large masks are worn and strange outfits. There is a white faced clown on stilts. The Matsumoto Egawa troupe perform a balancing act. One of the troupe lies on his back and uses his arms and legs to spin a large patterned pole. L/S of the ring as members of the troupe do balancing tricks and contortions. Boxes and a barrel are balanced on a man’s feet then a woman climbs on top of the barrel.
