Then we show you how to sew the pattern step by step. We will also show you how to make a fake front fly and sew an easy waistband with elastic in the casing. In the end, you will have a cute pair of shorts for lounging, sleeping, or just wearing. In the pattern, we have included a measurement chart for all sizes and garments. You can find the measurement in both metric and imperial measurements. To find your size, measure your hips at the widest part. You choose your size based on the body measurements, and the garment measurements give you an idea of how much ease we have included in the pattern. If you are in-between sizes, they also give you an idea of which size to choose. The Easy Shorts are designed for woven fabric, but you can make them in jersey fabric as well. I recommend that you size down one size if you make the shorts in jersey.
