Street fighting by infantry backed by tanks and artillery is seen starting at :50. At 1:50, the Brandenburg Gate and the Reichstag building are seen in the heart of the German capitol. At 2:12, rockets are loaded onto a Katyusha rocket launcher. At 2:38, the Soviets occupy the roof of the shattered Reichstag. The official story is repeated -- that two hand-picked soldiers, Meliton Kantaria (Georgian) and Mikhail Yegorov (Russian), raised the Soviet flag over the Reichstag (2:55).
