A Kiwi’s Daily Life in istanbul Turkey 🇹🇷 We should never buy an animal for show, when there are so many stray animals out there. Who needs our love and help. Back in my country, New Zealand, animal specially dogs. Need to be registered by its owner. So we never see many dogs or stray cats anywhere. If any, are found walking on the streets. They always end up, at the SPCA or pound. And there’s always a fine to pay. And if their aren’t registered. They automatically go on the waiting list, for new owners. Only for a short period of time. If no one claims them or wants a new family pet. The worse news is. They are put to sleep. I’m sure they do the same in other countries. But here in Turkey. Well this is a different story. Dogs are free to wonder, and cats are everywhere. They are a part of the Turkish culture and they belong to the city and its people.
