Claudio Abbado, Reinhold Friedrich, ’Brandenburg Concerto #2’ (J. S. Bach)

Claudio Abbado (1933-2014) was an Italian conductor who was one of the leading conductors of his generation. Reinhold Friedrich (1958) is a German trumpeter and university lecturer in Karlsruhe. He is considered one of the greatest classical trumpeters of all time. They interpret Johann Sebastian Bach’s ’Brandenburg Concerto #2 in F’, BWV 1047. The ’Brandenburg Concertos’ were a present to the Margrave of Brandenburg-Schwedt, Christian Ludwig, in 1721. Johann Sebastian Bach (1685-1750) was a German composer, virtuoso organist and harpsichordist, music educator, conductor and choirmaster. He’s considered one of the greatest composers of all time.
