Full title reads: “Cardington. Tragedy most profound. Pathetic interest attached to these exclusive pictures taken of the ill-fated R-101 just before she left on what was to be her last journey.“ Cardington, Bedfordshire. Shot of the airship R 101 attached to mooring mast. Shots of members of the crew of the dirigible. Crewmen get into mooring mast lift to be taken up to the ship.
