Third son of a third son, he was born in times of capricious signs, the soothsinger sang of falling mountains and fell deeds to come, and so they did. Hard times saw his father fall, then the younger brother to illness and the older to spears and ambush. Alone upon the Urtzberg, defiant against the settled folk who would drive him back across the river. But he is a man true to the old oaths, the first spear, and a friend to all Wanderers.
