Heroines

Heroines documents the realities of addiction, prostitution and survival for women living in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside. Photographer Lincoln Clarkes offers a rare and compassionate view into the lives of these women and reflects their unique beauty and strength in the portraits he takes of them. 2001 documentary directed by Stan Feingold features the poetry of Susan Musgrave and the music of John Korsrud.
