We Put Honda’s New Motocompacto to the Test!

We Put Honda’s New Motocompacto to the Test! By Aaron Gaghagen and Brian Gillespie Back in the day Honda sold a super compact fold-able scooter that fit in the back of their City, a subcompact JDM hatchback, called the Motocompo. The tiny, quirky scooter has become a hit in the US even though it was never sold here. But we found our ways through importers. The Motocompo was only produced from 1981 to 1983. Honda did tease an electric version known as the Motor Compo concept in 2011, but nothing really came of it. Flash forward to 2023 and the spirit of the Motocompo is back 40 years later with the all new Motocompacto. We were lucky enough to snag one of only five delivered to our local dealership. Right away we opened it up and put it to the test! Like us? We’d Love Your Support!
