Mossy Forest - Virtual Camera / Path Tracing - Unreal Engine 5.3

What to do when the heavy rain/storm ruin your camping trip? Since I couldn’t go to the forest last weekend, I made a little forest scene in Unreal Engine using Virtual Camera and Path Tracing. You can see it’s a bit noisy due to the lack of samples but my 3-year-old GPU hit its limits to render 915 frames with 1048 samples. Of course, I went crazy with the foliage; grass, moss, and some other tiny plants, it’s all procedurally scattered on Megascan assets using DASH. It really pushed the GPU to its limits. Path Tracing is absolutely magic but it’s the first and the last time I’m using it with my current workstation :) Cinematic Version :
