Totally Magnificent Traditional Stone Room Restoration and Using Reclaimed Tomette Tiles

Here I am renovating my rear bedroom / downstairs office and soon to be incorporated shower room. The tomette tiles are reclaimed from the upstairs section of the 300 year old French farmhouse. Some of the tomette tiles need a clean using a wire brush as I decided part way through the tiling process to clean each tile by hand. Once I have cleaned the remaining few tomette tiles so they kind of match I will seal them and then grout the gaps. Then it’s on to doing the window cill and fitting a shower room at one end of this room.
