This is outrageously racist “coon“ song is a classic example of what Rag-Time sounded like before 1900. Piano accompaniment is by either Frank P. Banta or Fred Hylands. Recorded May 26, 1899 on a Berliner disc record. This was written by the popular black composer Irving Jones in 1899.
