The King Beneath the Mountain | version of ’s poem by Tim Lowes

Hello everyone, around the start of August I went on a composing trip for a week, where everyone wrote a song based on some text and at the end they were sung by professional singers. This piece is my rendition of Tolkien’s poem, ’The King Beneath the Mountain’, which I edited slightly (also some of it is in Dwarvish!). I decided to include quite a few references to the soundtrack of the Hobbit by Howard Shore. Unfortunately the audio quality is not the best (I must say it was alot more epic in person), but here is that final concert. I also have many many new piano projects coming, and I’m planning to do some of them as live recordings of me playing. Pretty much all are from different film soundtracks, and alot of them come from How to Train Your Dragon!
