PS6 - Reveal Trailer

PS5’s development started in 2015, and then it was released five years later. Based off a 2021 job listing from Sony that suggests the development of a new console, we can assume that the PS6 release date will be around 2026. This lines up with a Sony document which revealed that the PS6 release date is scheduled to launch sometime after 2027. If the reported timeframe proves accurate, gamers can expect to see a PS5 Pro launch in late 2024, followed by the PS6 releasing in 2028. However, it is not hard to speculate on the cost of the PS6. Keeping the upgrades and the inflation in mind, we can expect the PS6 to be priced between $500 and $600. Plus, if we dig into the past, the PS5 was $100 more expensive than its predecessor, PS4, which retailed at $399.
