The Evangelion Manga Was Weird...

Neon Genesis Evangelion is one of my favorite franchises of all time. The series was praised for its compelling themes and abstract storytelling (as well as its controversial endings) upon its release. Evangelion, especially, is an otherworldly franchise in Japan and has licensed merchandise for just about any household object. Along with its success, also came various manga spinoffs.
