The Wynton Marsalis Septet perform at the Royal Albert Hall as part of the 1993 BBC Proms Season.
Prom 40 in the 1993 season was a late night concert at on Thursday 19 August.
The concert featured several movements from Marsalis’ extended work In This House, On This Morning.
The BBC’s coverage of the Prom was presented by Geoffrey Smith and began with a pre-recorded interview with Marsalis in which he discussed his aims as an artist and his commitment to challenging negative stereotypes of Africa
