Amazon customers thanked as Bezos completes space flight

Amazon founder Jeff Bezos has travelled to space aboard his company’s New Shepard launch vehicle in a huge step in the space tourism race. The world’s richest man gave a thumbs up after completing the 11-minute flight and was joined by his brother Mark, veteran pilot Wally Funk and student Oliver Daemon. Mr Bezos thanked Amazon customers for paying for his private spaceflight, which he said was the “best day ever“.
