As bushfire season looms, secrets and lies unravel – and not everyone will make it out alive. British expats and best mates Steve and Brad live in different parts of Australia with their families. This year their summer get-together sees Steve, Sarah and teenagers Mia and Tom visit Brad, Louise and son Kip at their new home in the bush. The reunion is warm, but tensions simmer and revelations surface that shatter the precarious peace.
