Passcode Unlock for iPhone 5 and 5c Using Elcomsoft iOS Forensic Toolkit

We have developed a method to unlock encrypted iPhone 5 and 5c devices protected with an unknown screen lock passcode by running a DFU attack. Our solution is software only, and requires no disassembling and no extra hardware. A standard USB to Lightning cable and a Mac are everything that one needs to run the attack.
