Iceland volcano erupts, 4th time in 4 months Icelandic meteorological office confirmed the eruption, that began Saturday night at around 20:23 local time, left a fissure in the ground, spewing rivers of raging magma and clouds of ash in the same site as last month’s event that forced evacuation of the nearby town of Grindavik. The handful of residents who had returned after the last evacuation were again moved for their safety as the lava flowed towards the town. Source: RT News
