Advanced Wrestling, circa 1970

This video shows advanced wrestling techniques taught at Iowa State University by coach Harold Nichols. The slow-motion footage shows teammates Dan Gable and Dave Martin as they demonstrate a variety of moves including take downs, reversals, the Granby roll, the whizzer, counters, riding, pinning, and scissors. This video was transferred from a 16mm film housed in the Special Collections Department, Iowa State University Library.
