Mezzo Soprano Saxophone in F. Better named Alto sax in F.

Conn Mezzo Soprano Saxophone in F dating back to 1928. To my opinion it would be better to call it an Alto Sax in F. It’s pitch is a full 4th lower than a soprano and only a major second higher than a normal alto in Eb. Conn only made these saxes in 1928 and 1929. Then the great depression was the cause that this model was discontinued. Adolphe Sax (1914 - 1894), the inventor of the saxophone originally allready planned a series of 7 sax types in Bb and Eb for use in Military music and a series of 7 saxe
