“Solar“ | Generative Eurorack Modular Ambient

I patched and recorded this one on the day of the clock change last week. I find I get completely thrown off by the hours difference but the extra light was lovely for patching =D I’m finding I particularly love patching during the evening light (although the sun had set by the time I got to recording xD) Thanks so much for watching, hope you enjoy =D Patch Notes: Recorded with Behringer UMC-202HD interface into DAW. Modules: Behringer CP1-a power supply Pittsburgh Micro-sequence Micro Ornament and Crime (Benisphere firmware) After Later Audio Baker (MI Peaks clone) After Later Audio Beehive (MI Plaits clone) After Later Audio Monsoon (MI Clouds clone) Instruo Ochd ALM Tangle Quartet Micro sequence is providing pitch for Beehive in a random order, and the gate is triggering Burst on Ornament and Crime. Ornament and Crime has LowerRenz modulating Timbre and Morph on Beehive, and Burst creating a slightly randomised burst of 8 triggers for each note which is sent to Baker. Baker is in Pulse randomiser mode, with the probabilities and jitter being modulated by Ochd. The further randomised triggers are being sent to Beehive. Beehive is in Green 2 (so a waveshaped/folded triangle wave), with the output processed by Monsoon. Monsoon is in Looping Delay mode. The delay is running reversed with the reverb turned right up and the feedback tuned until the signal blurs to give the effect of a background pad. The diffusion (density) is also being modulated to move the sounds a little around the stereo field. Ochd is doing a lot of modulation, including modulating the strength of one of it’s own signals through Tangle Quartet. Tangle Quartet has the first 2 channels as attenuation for LFOs and the second to as a mixer for the audio, with the audio outputs being recorded in stereo to the audio interface.
