Perseverance spots wreckage of Mars landing system

On February 18th, 2021, the Perseverance rover did a 1-minute 50-second skydive followed by a powered final descent after cutting loose from its parachute and backshell. They went down hard. Now Perseverance has imaged the aftermath.
