Why Rabbits Have Invaded One Neighborhood

Dozens of rabbits are invading one Florida neighborhood. Some report between 60 to 100 of them all over the yards of a Fort Lauderdale suburban community. “One of the neighbors moved a couple of years ago, and she just left her rabbits in the street when she moved. They were not spayed or neutered, so they started multiplying,” said neighbor Alicia Griggs. Neighbors are trying to raise money to get the rabbits out of the neighborhood and into people’s homes.
