The record included in the double CD “La Galante the soul of Riga“. In this work, we hear the extraordinary growing power of the instrument and performer’s virtuosity. This is the most popular Kalējs organ work. This chorale Kalējs played at the European Festival of Sacral Music at Nuremberg as an improvisation. Members of the audience asked that it be written down. It’s included in repertoire of many organists such as Iveta Apkalna, who successfully performes it in many countries of the world.
