Both have their origin in my so called ’Bagatelle period’ (2003-2017). Like my “Concertino“ (2015) and my “Symphony No. 8“, the “Violin Concerto“ is based on the idea of treating the great form in a different way – as a chain of moments and not as a dialectical development.
