PLAYER RESPONSIBILITIES: PLAY 1 (Staggered Box, Shot for ’2’) 1 - Be patient, use pass fakes, rebound. 2 - Set stationary screen, wait for screen from ‘4’, be ready to shoot. 3 - Clear to corner, act as safety after shot goes up. 4 - Set stationary screen, be ready to receive pass if defense overplays on ‘2’. 5 - Dive hard to basket, be ready to score if open. BREAKDOWN: Why this play works - PLAY 2 (4 High, Shot for ’2’) 1 - Use pass fakes to move defenders. 2 - Wait for first screen, cut hard across court, be ready to shoot. 3 - Set stationary screen, pop out as safety. 4 - Set stationary screen, roll to basket hard. 5 - Set stationary screen, roll to basket, create good passing angle.
