LES of a turbulent fire quenched by oxygen dilution using FireFOAM

Large Eddy Simulation of a turbulent line fire in a controlled co-flow. The co-flow streams correspond to air diluted by nitrogen. An oxygen anchor (piloted flame) prevents lift-off extinction. Research carried out at University of Maryland by Sebastien Vilfayeau and Arnaud Trouve. Read more here:
