Simple Early 1920’s / Late 1910s Curly Updo

Today we have one of the possible looks you can create using the Pickford curl set I recently shared (watch it here if you missed it: ) It’s a super quick, simple updo and great for that late 1910s / early 1920’s look. Many starlets of this time period wore their curls pinned up in films. Even Mary Pickford had her curls pinned up in a similar fashion in some movies (usually when her hair was pinned up it signified her character was now a young adult). It’s a bit of a short video this week and next week will be the same I’m afraid. My best friend is getting married, I’m a bridesmaid, and things are getting hectic! I may take a mini break from videos after the wedding, but hopefully by October everything will settle down and I can get back to my regular video making/posting schedule.
