America’s MOST TRADITIONAL WHITE TOPPERS of Pennsylvania’s Big

Perhaps America’s most traditional Amish are the Nebraska Amish of the Northern end of the Big Valley in Mifflin County, Pennsylvania. Their traditional ways of dress, hair style, living, home decorations, farming methods... are evolving not at all. With their original descendants coming from the Lancaster County region in the 1700’s they share some of the same traits as their Lancaster distant relatives but have distinguished themselves in many, many other ways from not only the Lancaster Amish but most other Amish groups as well. The Nebraska Amish have 2 other settlements that I am aware in Ohio and one in New York. I hope you enjoy the video showing the Big Valley Nebraska Amish homesteads.
