The famous Lachrimae Pavan performed here on the instrument for which it was written, the Renaissance Lute. First published around 1595 in England. Here I’m playing from the Jane Pickering manuscript but have added some nice ideas from other English manuscripts. Composer: John Dowland (1563-1626).
