Faded Colors (Russia) — winter / vampiric black metal — 2023 full length

The second record, and debut album, of this solo act. Right after the demo, which gave some hints to where it wanted to go, this project jumps into album mode with an almost fifty-minute runtime. As rabid as the black metal sections try to be, they are often sprinkled with some background synth, at least the first and third track, as the second one is a dungeon synth one that eventually transforms into a folk with acoustic guitar. Still, the most remarkable track metalwise is the third where all the ingredients pull into the right direction, including the vocals that have a greater preponderance which turn what could be a good and make it magnificently powerful.
