Wrigley’s Spearmint Gum - Talking Computer Commercial (1988)

A man, sitting in a room by himself, announces that he’s about to chew some gum. This piques the interest of his computer, who starts asking him about Wrigley’s Spearmint. He addresses the inquiry by saying it’s “pure chewing satisfaction“ (curiously, the same answer given to this grocery store cash register: ). Unable to discern exactly what that means, the PC ingests a stick of gum though its floppy disk drive. Suddenly, the device displays impressive graphics (for the era), which highlight some of the gum’s positive attributes. The guy at the desk asks for its analysis by hitting a single button, and the computer confirms that Wrigley’s Spearmint is, in fact, pure chewing satisfaction. Subscribe for daily commercial uploads
