Brand new cassette single by this killer project. One of my favorite acts as of late playing free, triumphant Black Metal, carrying on the flames of acts like Eisenwinter, Totale Vernichtung or Mirkvid, . are definitely among the best in this new wave of revivalism, if it can be called such a thing. Absolutely excellent saccharine Black Metal, with clear influences from Heathen Rock filling .’s music with moments of solar bliss, in heroic flight towards the firmament, while seeped in a sense of magic nostalgia and gazing towards the majestic snowy peaks of the Rocky Mountains. Features exclusive intro and outro songs, and the main track “Above It All“, with some excellent basslines and brimming with Oi!’s stoicism and unextinguishable fire, which appeared as bonus recently on the “This Cold Steel“ compilaton. Also includes the “Love Beneath the Hanging“ track from “Autumn Hearts in the Iron Winter“ with different, more potent drums, and an excellent cover from The Mamas & Papas’ mega hit, “California Dreamin’“ Self-released on tape.
